I am very much loving gradient nails...
I thought I'd try using some similar colours so its a lovely subtle gradient...

Do you like the pink and purple?
For this I used "Australis: Peek-A-Boo" with "OPI: Lucky Lucky Lavender" for the tips...
With a lovely touch of Seche Vite Top Coat.

I just keep finding myself doing different flower designs on my nails...
I quite like this design I like how the pale blue stands out against the dark red...

Base Coat: Seche Base
Base Colour: Revlon Devlish
Flowers: L.A. Colours Art Deco Sky Blue
Centre Dots: L.A. Colours Art Deco Hi-Lite

what do you think?

Pretty in pink...
I think so...

I love this top. It reminds me of a fantastical distant galaxy... and it's so, totally, my colours!

It's also a really comfy fit, and I don't feel like I have any lumpy, bumpy body bits showing...

I really do like this outfit.
I'm the type of body when most clothes makes me look (or feel) pregnant... in fact, I have been asked a few times (in a different outfit... I don't wear that any more)
So this was perfect!
loose fitting over my rather large bust and stomach,
The skirt is "Tulip" shaped, making it fitted on my waist (to really show that off) and looser over my stomach area. It then comes in at the bottom (slightly) which means it covers my thighs with out accentuation them and making them look huge!

You like too?

Top: Stax
Skirt: Glassons
Shoes: Hush Puppies from Hannahs
Necklace: a gift from my bestie! (It's both our favourite colours, mine is pink, hers is green)
Earrings: Silvermoon
Ring: From MyLove's lovely family...
and nails.... Check it out below.

Now for my nails...
for this manicure I first painted my nails pale pink with Revlon Peach Petal, I then drew stripes with L.A. Colours Magenta. While the polish was still wet I used a needle (well actually sewing pin) to drag lines through the polish, I did these alternating ways (this is best visible on my thumbs)
a swipe of Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat and I was good to go...

I was in a bit of an indecisive state as to what to paint on my nails...

My work mate said flowers...

meanwhile, in the staff room another work mate had brought in some Sunflowers....
they were so pretty and big...

and thus my inspiration....

For this manicure I used:
Revlon Wind Fall (it's actually much more teal-ly in real life...)
Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow
and
Revlon Totally Toffee
along with some gold studs from Born Pretty Store...
coated in a generous helping of Seche Vite Dry fast top coat

also in a random coincidence check out this Sunflower tutorial by Nailed It NZ...

Today I found the pictures I took a little while ago when I first got my striping tape.

Aren't they cute?
I admit they're not the most exciting manicure, But I quite like the simplicity of them...
I'm into simple geometric designs you see....

I got my striping tape from the BornPrettyStore.
There's HEAPS of colours!

This manicure was really simple and I think the after result looks really cool!

I used Revlon Jaded Night (Dark Green) and Revlon Wind Fall (Bright Teal).

I painted half my nail with the different polishes, then applied silver striping tape over the meet-up line.
Then finished off with my favourite of all favourites
Seche Vite fast dry top coat.

Welcome to all my new followers!

I apologise for not posting in some time, life just gets busy...
and I cannot believe it is February already!

Well last night was a dear friend of mine's 21st birthday.
and here in New Zealand it's some what a big occasion and time to celebrate,
He hosted a wonderful big bash,
and in typical girlwithsomeclothes fashion I needed to buy a new dress.

I woke MyLove up nice and early (much to his dismay) and began my shopping adventure...
The first shop I looked in was Staxs
I had been wanting to go there for ages and was hoping to go on "late night Thursday" only to find they're not open for late nights on Thursday... ::sad face:: so had to wait until Saturday.
I was in luck!
I found this super cute navy blue dress in my size and it looked lovely!

So, I bought it.

I pictured it going perfectly with my purple and grey suede heels.
(which it did)

So here is my final look for last night...

Dress: Staxs
Shoes: Shoe Connection

And I even did my nails to match!
See....

I used my striping tape from the Born Pretty Store and sectioned my nails,
then painted varying sections with shades of Blue, Purple and Grey.

I used:
Revlon Midnight Affair (Blue)
Revlon Midnight Haze (Grey)
and
Revlon No Shrinking Violet (Purple)
Well I hope you like my nails and outfit as much as I did...
I actually created a some-what video clip of my nail panting process, so you might be seeing that sometime in the future...
