a good way to end the week, in a fliratious floral mood.
this is a fun outfit for those summer after-work-drinks...

Woooh, I'm spicing it up a little.
today I add a splash more vibrancy with pattern and colour.
To be honest I usually find this cardigan to be quite muted in tone, not nearly as bright an orange as one girlwithsomeclothes might like. however it does tend to compliment my skin tone, and many other fashion items that something much brighter might over shadow or destroy.
I found this skirt ages ago at one of Farmers epic red dot sales. I don't know why I haven't worn it before now. Possibly because of the front split, and the decision time it took to decide what to wear under it, and what top to wear with it.
The orange of the cardi compliments the skirt beautifully, without being overly bright and making the outfit off putting.
But then again I guess that's just my taste... Some may be well put off.
what about you?
loathe or love?

Not a very exciting post, I know, but hopefully the nail photos make up for it.
another outfit for another day of work....
Is it weird that I love this top so much!
I love the colour, the print, the fabric and especially the shape (hello Waist!)
Plus I actually feel really comfortable and like I made a bit of an effort for work.
(I'm trying to branch into a trendy yet professional-enough look)
what do you think?

Great nails for an easy weekend design. This is a great tutorial from Nailed It NZ.
Doesn't take too much precision, and the more random looking the stripes the better.
What do you think?
I might try and spice it up with some other colour combos some time.
agirlwithsomeclothes is a slacker! I cannot remember the nail polish I used.
(I can have a hunt if you so desire- let me know in comments)
apologies for the great pun
#Sorrynotsorry
I did this funky checker design free-hand. Ok I used a Sally Hansen Nail art pen.
But I'm still pretty proud of the almost neat-ness of them.
I'm quite excited to try these again, and use the nail art pens for more designs
What do you think?

So you may be able to guess from the title I have been watching a lot of the new(ish) netflix drama
I wouldn't say I love this show, but it is enjoyable and something I look forward to sitting down and watching.
It's about a 30-something lady, Piper, who is newly engaged and sentenced to 15 months in prison. Pretty much tells the story of her time in prison, with some intriguing flash backs to her time before prison. Once you get past the initial shock of so many boobies all at once it's a pretty enjoyable watch. Oh, and it also stars that due from American Pie (you know the main one) - Jason Biggs, and that chick of "That 70s Show" - Laura Prepon according to IMDb.
It is, therefore, only fitting that my outfit today should be orange in support of Orange being the New Black.
