Awwwww.....
My love is such a darling....
I came home from a loooooooong day at work and discovered this
How exciting!
So of course I eagerly unwrapped it and look what I found

And smells so good!

Today I have another lipstick swatch to show you.
I recently received a bundle of goodies from ilovebeauty - as you may well be aware from my last post. I am slowly but surely trying to make my way through swatching my goodies...
Here is another beautiful lipstick!
Rimmel Moisture Renew in Rouge.
This lipstick was actually very moisturising, but accordingly wore off rather quickly... The colour is lovely and vibrant and I would explain the end finish as a satin as oppose to an intense gloss or deliberate matte. I will most definitely be wearing this again!
Now for some pictures for ya'll
Thanks for checking this post out, I really hope you enjoyed it.
For Christmas MyLove purchased me an ilovebeauty voucher.
Now as you may know I am very fond of ilovebeauty... So it was a perfect gift!
I got around to spending the voucher and this lipstick is one of the goodies I purchased!
And I love it!
This is probably one of my favourite lipsticks!
This colour looks so bright in the tube, so at first I was a little hesitant, but then this is on, boy does it shine!
The staying power is amazing! this lasted most of the day, even with eating, drinking and all sorts of talking...
As one would expect from Elizabeth Arden, superb packaging, chic sleek case and a smooth formula that glides on easy!
Cute and comfy...
It makes me feel a little bit country.
I must say thought I was pulling my white singlet-slip down a number of times throughout the day, and pulling my tights up. I should wear leggings next time.

No jewelry for me today- I wanted the focus to be on the funky print of my dress!
Without further ado here are some polish photos:
Thanks for visiting... Please let me know what you think :)
Look at this cute polish!
What an epic colour!
This polish is created by Ovarian Cancer Awareness NZ. Each bottle is $10. More info about buying these can be found on the Ovarian Cancer Awareness NZ Facebook page.
Look at how cutely (is that a word?) it was packaged!
This polish is smaller than my usual size. I'd say about 7.5ml (which is the size of maybelline and China Glaze mini's).
The brush is a pretty standard small brush:
The colour is so lovely!
This is a shear polish, I'd say it's a crelly (?) - it's quite sheer and jelly like with a slight milky-cream-like-ness to it...
This is one coat (looks yuck just one coat!)
Looks heaps better with two-thick to three coats:
This is just overall a lovely polish. To be fair I don't have many jelly polishes or sheer creams come to that. I think I will actually get a lot of use with this.
I can't wait to try a jelly sandwich with this one!
Isn't it beautiful?
Hope you enjoyed my photo-spam.
One of my favourite designs at the moment!!
To be honest I am positing this so late and cannot remember if I did the gradient first for the striping tape first.
Next time I do a design like this I'll try to make a tutorial...
What are your thoughts?
would you be interested in a tutorial for this?
Who else loves this cider!?
My favourite flavour - all berries!
My work in progress
The finished design:
What do you think? Cider Addict like me?
Oh my goodness I love this polish!!
For those of you who know me well, know I LOVE pink. It is my favourite colour for just about everything! (Orange is a very close second)
So when one of my polish friends was destashing this beauty I just had to grab it!
Introducing Cult Nails- Morning Glory The colour is AMAZING!!
This is everything I could want in a hot pink polish!
The formula was smooth, consistent and super opaque!
It actually dries a little matte (the photo is on plastic nail enhancements) and with a top coat it's super dooper shiney!!!
What are your thoughts?
I love me some Butter London Nail Polish, so I was pretty darn excited to get my hands on this beautiful blue polish- Blagger.
I am quite fond of the Butter London bottles, however they have quite little bottle caps, which can be difficult to paint with.
The colour of this one is a bit more vibrant than in the bottle and a really solid opaque colour.
The formula was fantastic, smooth and consistent!
The colour was easy to apply- no streaks - and super opaque.
Overall I love this polish! I can't wait to get my hands on more Butter London.
I'm finally posting day two of
Ok, so I have been doing these sporadically, not sticking to each day...
Sorry about that...
Day two's challenge is to use my last purchased in 2013 and my first purchased in 2014...
I can't remember my last purchased of 2013, but I did get some polish for Christmas... Including emotions by OPI... So I used that one.
My first purchase of 2014 was actually a OPI Mariah Carey mini set of liquid sands... I chose one of these as the second polish.
I used OPI Liquid Sands Emotions (black) and OPI Liquid Sands Silent Stars Go By...
Not my best manicure, but I quite like it :)
Apologies that the heart looks a bit like Mickey Mouse... But I'm getting better :)
Sorry about the lighting on this one!
Overall I'm quite pleased with this manicure... Also do you know how difficult it is to draw straight lines with liquid sands!!!!
What do you think? Like the look too?
Make sure to like me on Facebook.
Again, a liquid sands I had been dying to add to my collection!
I saw this on some American (?) bloggers blogs a while ago- apparently it's a special edition thing that comes with OPI base coat...
Safe to say I have not see this yet in New Zealand, so I was stoked to see this on eBay!
Now for a photo of this beautiful polish!
Below in (bathroom) white light (haha- it turned terribly rainy and overcast!)
Overall:
I love it!
The consistency was great! Opaque and quick dry time!
The texture is a fine grain, not as rough as the other liquid sands I've tried (similar texture to pussy galore).
The placement of glitters is just right, it's not too sparkly, but not just a plain purple cream polish.
It is a must have if you've been looking for a purple liquid sands!
I finally got my hands of this polish!!! I have been wanting this for so long!
I now (almost) have the complete Bond Collection!
And now for the photos:
No top coat in indoor sunlight
No top coat in direct sunlight
With Seche Vite Top Coat, indoors
With Seche Vite Top Coat in direct sunlight
Overall thoughts:I had been pining after this polish for so long when I finally got my hands on it I was ecstatic!
When I first put this polish on (one coat) I was initially disappointed, it appeared sheer and not very sparkly. My expectations from other liquid sands are that they are uber sparkly and a grainy feel.
The texture of this polish was a finer grain and not nearly as rough textured as other liquid sands polish.
There is definitely is some sparkle and I found this showed so much better with top coat.
I found this average with no top coat, but really like it with top coat! I will definitely be wearing this again with top coat, and think this could be my new go to pale pink.
What do you think? Have you tried it yet?
Gah!
I'm not sure about the colour choice, but I'm impressed with my pretty steady zig zag stripes...
Awww, I'm quite fond of this subtle golden gradient...
Pretty quick to do now too.
Do you like it too?
